| We had a great time at the Fall Carolina trial-beautiful weather, a great site and a chance to see old friends and make new friends...and along the way, two of our boys accounted for 5 Championships! Dash was Under Adult Racing Champion both days, but the surprise was our six 1/2 mo old pup-Canis Major Maximus (Mac). His second time on the race track, he went under puppy racing Champion both days-1st in Novice GTG on Sat and 1st in Open Puppy GTG Sunday. Then on to Conformation, how exciting against some great puppies he won Puppy Conformation Champion on Sat and was Res. Best Dog Pup on Sunday!!! He was one tired little pup!! Now @ 12.5" and will probably grow just a little more. Jag ran in the over males, all 12/75" and took a 3rd in the finals on Sat and a 4th in the finals on Sunday, he is a gutsy little boy to go up against some tough, big boys....I was really proud of Cayman, once again nailing a difficult Super Earth, coming in 3rd. She is a little huntress. The best part was the trial is only an hour away from Tally Hills North in Western NC....a brief rest and then its on to Nationals.......See you there.....thanks, can you believe Nationals is so close....I'm already nervous! |
