We started out in the JRTCA
involved in performance and really enjoyed competing with our
terriers. Somehow I knew we were missing out on the most
important aspect and before I would ever breed a litter, it was
important to find a bitch that was "put together" correctly,
had a good temperament and had strong hunting instincts.
We found Caymen, a little girl just over a year old. Caymen has a strong head, a bounce to every step & is always on "her toes" looking for quarry. We do have much to hunt in north FL-fox, raccoon, possum, turtles, snakes, & squirrels. Caymen has even been seen in our pond bobbing for frogs! When Caymen is out in the field with Dash, she gives him a head start but beats him to the fence every time.....she sure can cover some ground! Caymen will be bred this fall. |
